The massive funding crisis that emerged hit children, women and men living amid conflict and crisis hardest. It forced the entire humanitarian system to make impossible decisions and hyper-prioritize who gets support.
Urgent collective action to protect people by upholding principles and norms and enforcing international humanitarian law is overdue.
