Summary
The 2025 regular session of the Committee on NGOs will take place from 20 to 31 January at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Committee will meet again on 11 February 2025 to adopt its report of the session.

- New applications for consultative status and requests for reclassification - Item 3 (b)
The 2025 regular session is expected to consider 213 new applications for status by NGOs as well as 323 applications deferred from earlier sessions. The Committee will also review new quadrennial reports of 500 NGOs in general or special consultative status, as well as 131 quadrennial reports from organizations, deferred from earlier sessions. The session's recommendations will be sent to the Economic and Social Council for its approval during the meetings of the management segment of the Council to be held from 10 to 11 June 2025.
