- The Commission continued consideration of Chapter V on "Subsidiary means for the determination of rules of international law" and adopted a further part of section C., including part of the commentary to draft conclusion 8 (Weight of decisions of courts and tribunals/Poids des décisions des juridictions) (A/CN.4/L.991 and A/CN.4/L.991/Add.1), as amended.
- The Commission began consideration of Chapter VII on "Immunity of State officials from foreign criminal jurisdiction" and adopted section A and part of section B (A/CN.4/L.993), as amended.
