Summary
The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) is one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations, founded with the purpose of contributing to the economic development of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Description
The Committee of the Whole of ECLAC, provides the governments of the member States with an opportunity to meet between the sessions of the Commission.
During the thirty-sixth session of the Committee of the Whole, the Executive Secretary of ECLAC will present the document "An innovative financing for development agenda for the recovery in Latin America and the Caribbean".
The ECLAC secretariat will also present the Report on the activities of the Commission, 2020, and of the Draft programme of work of the ECLAC system, 2023.
