The hearing will take due consideration to ensure transparency, equitable geographic representation, and gender parity in discussions. These discussions will inform the inputs towards the various tracks of the Conference.
The hearing is an official intersessional session of the Preparatory Committee and responds to the decision of the Preparatory Committee of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, recalling the General Assembly resolution 78/271.
The Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) will take place in Seville, Spain from 30 June to 3 July, 2025. The Conference will address new and emerging issues, and the urgent need to fully implement the Sustainable Development Goals, and support reform of the international financial architecture.
FfD4 will assess the progress made in the implementation of the Monterrey Consensus, the Doha Declaration and the Addis Ababa Action agenda.
