A side event on the financing of Universal Health Coverage, that will provide an opportunity for sharing experience and best practices on healthcare financing, and a platform to discuss the progress made to improve the health coverage, as well as accelerate the implementation of the SDGs and come up with practical recommendations relating to the legal and regulatory financing frameworks. Other overarching objectives include international cooperation, regional and country perspectives, as well as overall challenges. This High level side event will be chaired by the Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Director General of WHO.
