The 2024 UNODC Global Report on Trafficking in Persons is the eighth of its kind mandated by the General Assembly through the 2010 United Nations Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons, last appraised by the General Assembly in 2021 in New York, with the next appraisal to take place in New York in 2025. As with previous years, this edition of the Global Report on Trafficking in Persons presents a global picture of the patterns and flows of trafficking, alongside detailed regional analyses and country profiles. The Report will be released on 11 December, prior to this Event on 12 December to inform Member States and other stakeholders about its key findings.
