Succession of States in respect of State responsibility
- The Chair of the Working Group on "Succession of States in respect of State responsibility", Mr. August Reinisch, presented the oral report of the Working Group. The Commission took note of the oral report of the Working Group and adopted the recommendations contained therein. The Commission appointed Mr. Bimal N. Patel as the Chair of the Working Group on "Succession of States in respect of State responsibility".
Subsidiary means for the determination of rules of international law
- The Commission continued consideration of Chapter V on "Subsidiary means for the determination of rules of international law" and adopted part of section C., including part of the commentary to draft conclusion 4 (Decisions of courts and tribunals/Décisions de juridictions) (A/CN.4/L.991 and A/CN.4/L.991/Add.1), as amended.
