At the margins of the sixteenth annual meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) (6-10 December 2021, Katowice, Poland) UNODC-TPB will host a Remote Hub and an online conversation on the topic of Human Rights and Electronic Evidence, commemorating International Human Rights Day.

Both the Remote Hub and conversation will raise awareness of electronic evidence and its linkages to data and users' rights, underlining the importance of balancing the handling of data and electronic evidence for law enforcement and judicial purposes on the one hand, and the respect, promotion and protection of human rights on the other.
