The global economy stands at 450 trillion dollars. Just one percent of that would finance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), explains Marcos Neto, Assistant Secretary-General in the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Speaking at the International Conference on Financing for Development in Sevilla, Spain, he says that its outcome document, the Compromiso de Sevilla, is a strong start to addressing this.
