20 Nov 2018 -  In 2015, the Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee (CTC) adopted the Madrid Guiding Principles (S/2015/939) to assist Member States in their efforts to stem the flow of foreign terrorist fighters (FTFs). Identified at a Special meeting of the Committee held in Madrid, Spain, these principles are to be reviewed during a Special meeting of the CTC in line with Security Council resolution 2396 (2017).
