Description

By funding village libraries, day care center training, honey bee-keeping, and other locally-impactful projects, each UN Staff 1% Fund continues to change lives for the better.  Members make monetary contributions, and select projects based on their potential to become self-sustaining, and the requirement that each be led by local contacts who supervise and monitor the development initiatives. To join a UN Staff for Development Fund, visit a Fund website – where you can complete a membership form and check on details for that Fund (e.g. who is eligible to join, how much and how to make contributions, and how many projects are supported annually). To start a fund in a United Nations duty station not listed, please contact any existing fund for advice.
