Standing Committees

The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) has several standing committees, including the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the Committee for Programme and Coordination. Standing committees are permanent panels that oversee the work of the UN and its specialized agencies.
