Beyond doing everything to cut emissions and slow the pace of global warming, we must adapt and build resilience to the effects of climate change. However, current adaptation efforts are far behind what is needed to protect lives and livelihoods from the worsening climate impacts.

This session will focus on the importance of a sustainable finance architecture for the Sustainable Development Goals. To accelerate progress, we need a financial and economic governance architecture designed to support governments, development agencies, civil society and the private sector to make decisions that prioritize investment in the SDGs.
