The High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) will be held from Monday, 10 July, to Wednesday, 19 July 2023, under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council . This includes the three-day ministerial segment of the forum from Monday, 17 July, to Wednesday, 19 July 2023 as part of the High-level Segment of the Council. The last day of the High-level Segment of ECOSOC will be on Thursday, 20 July 2023.

UN 2023 Water Conference Side Event is organized by the League of Arab States – Technical Secretariat of the Arab Ministerial Water Council. Other organizing members and partners include the Ministers of the Arab Ministerial Water Council, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).

The Federal Republic of Nigeria, the World Toilet Organization (WTO) and the Sanitation and Hygiene Fund (SHF) are joining forces to highlight innovative approaches to tackle the global sanitation, hygiene and menstrual health crisis at the upcoming UN Water Conference, the first conference of water and water related issues to take place in almost 50 years.

This side event is organized by a consortium of UN Member States, international finance institutions, intergovernmental organizations, companies, and NGOs involved in an ongoing effort to define the practice of water resilience for economic planning, evaluation, and management.
