The 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, 1-3 May, under the title "Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Leadership in Interconnectivity".

To take place in a hybrid format under the theme "Building Tomorrow's Leaders Today: Fostering Youth's Ownership for Africa's Future-Ready Leadership," the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA) is organizing a launch event of "Africa's Youth Voices" (AYV), a network the Office will coordinate to ensure African youth's perspectives are embedded in its policy analysis, advisory and advocacy activities.

 The event offers an enabling space for interaction between youth and high-level decision makers, creators and entrepreneurs with the aim of breaking traditional barriers to dialogue and collaboration.

Caritas Internationalis' experiences working in local communities offer valuable insights and examples of the role of religious leaders and faith-based organizations promoting women's leadership and meeting women's needs. 

This event aims to discuss women's leadership leading to transformative change, challenges and process of a woman leader's journey and financing for women's leadership.

This CSW68 Side Event, 'Empowering Women Leaders in Civil Society for Global Change,' organized by UN-Habitat, will spotlight the indispensable role of women and girls in civil society leadership as catalysts for global change. The session will serve as a pivotal platform for dialogue, sharing best practices, and fostering partnerships.

The event aims to foster dialogue on the challenges and opportunities women face in customary and informal justice (CIJ) systems and identify strategies to advocate for and amplify women's empowerment and leadership within these systems. It will also seek to inspire increased investment and outline actionable steps for a more gender-transformative engagement with CIJ systems.
