UN Forum on Forests - Sustainable Forest Management…

At the UN Forum on Forests in Istanbul delegates were discussing funding for forest management in difficult times of world economic crisis. The largest funder of projects that benefit the global environment is the Global Environment Facility, GEF. Many of their projects include incentives for communities to use their forest resources in a more sustainable way.
