The Commission continued consideration of Chapter V on "Settlement of disputes to which international organizations are parties" and adopted the remaining part of section C. including part of the commentary to draft guidelines 2 (Use of terms/Emploi des termes), (A/CN.4/L.977 and A/CN.4/L.977/Add.1), as amended. 

• Prevention and repression of piracy and armed robbery at sea

The Commission began consideration of Chapter VI on "Prevention and repression of piracy and armed robbery at sea" and adopted sections A., B. and part of section C. including part of the commentary to draft article 1 (Scope/Champ d'application (A/CN.4/L.978 and A/CN.4/L.978/Add.1), as amended.
