The High Level Side Event will bring together key sports stakeholders and technology leaders to deliberate on the issue of human trafficking as it relates to sport and the role of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). They will address the existing gaps and threats of trafficking in sports and how technology can be utilized to find lasting solutions.

This will include raising awareness of the magnitude of the problem, and the impact of the growth of digital technologies, as well as, a commitment to implementing technological solutions to tackle exploitation and trafficking in sport.
The discussions will focus on 3 main areas:
- Sharing of knowledge, information, and evidence-based research on the issue
- Perspectives of trafficking and exploitation from key sports stakeholders i.e., agents, athletes, and host committees
- Solution-Focused Action Plan: Looking at technological solutions to assess, manage, and mitigate risks in preventing trafficking within sports.
