"Beyond Boundaries: Futuring Peace in Northeast Asia" is developed by the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UN DPPA). The video follows five youth peacebuilders from Northeast Asia – Japan, Republic of Korea, People's Republic of China, and Mongolia. As part of their session at the 2023 Internet Governance Forum in Kyoto, Japan, the youth presented and deliberated on their policy recommendations aimed at cultivating a more inclusive, safe, and diverse digital environment for the region. The video invites viewers to think about how youth voices should be better integrated in policymaking processes and how youth perspectives contribute to building peace and fostering connectivity across borders.
