Yolanda Renee King is the only granddaughter of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The 15-year-old this year released a new picture book titled "We Dream A World" that is a tribute to her celebrated grandparents, who she never met. She has been sharing her message to large crowds for years, including one not long ago at the March on Washington with her parents, Martin Luther King III and Arndrea Waters King. The three of them visited the Ark of Return at UN Headquarters in December 2019, where they received a briefing by Maher Nasser. Following that, Yolanda said, "This is an important part of the UN, and people should know the history of this form of slavery. And I think that every sculpture here and that every piece of art and everything that's put in here has a meaning to it. And I think that this reflects their impact, their perspectives."
